PopisHledáme cenově přijatelné technologie, které umožní vývoj komerčních produktů obsahující směs proteinů s obsahem stabilní komplexní kapalné matrice.
Tato technologie by měla zvýšit stabilitu proteinů a kontrolu/eliminaci interakci proteinů s dalšími proteinovými komponentami stejně jako s dalšími složkami směsi (např. polymery, surfaktanty, atd.). Technologie pro specifickou segregaci/enkapsulaci s prokázaně funkčním mechanismem je předmětem vysokého zájmu. Technologie na bázi inhibice nejsou předmětem zájmu.

Details of the Technology Request:
Many consumer, biopharmaceutical, food, agricultural products consist of complex liquid formulations containing proteins such as various enzymes, (e.g, lipase, protease, amalyase, lactase, catalase etc) in combination with polymers, surfactants, sequestrants etc. Engineering the stability of these proteins in such a complex formulation is highly challenging as it not only depends upon the interaction of these proteins with other formulation components but is also linked to formulation conditions such as ionic strength, pH etc. When combinations of different proteins are present, this makes the problem even more challenging. We are seeking technologies that will allow the stability of proteins to be enhanced and will also allow a drastic reduction or elimination of interactions with other proteins and formulation components.

All encapsulation based technologies must protect in formulation but have a mechanism to trigger release of its payload when needed. Triggers of interest are dilution, formulation solubility, ionic strength, surfactant concentration, enzymes. Encapsulation technologies should be fast triggered and they must in addition demonstrate full segregation of the enzyme/protein until the initiation of the trigger (i.e. no leakage of active.)

Technical requirements:
Material must become fully soluble in-use and release it's payload.
Material must not interact with other formulation components or impair functional performance of product in any way.
Technology is expected to function effectively in complex formulation environment-e.g. moderately high surfactant levels etc.

Commercial requirements:
Technology must be readily commercializable.
Technology must be scalable for large FMCG production

Legal requirements:
Material must be non-toxic and safe for consumer use.
